Eligibility & Application

No Ministry of Health assessment or eligibility is required for our Retirement Residence, but a health assessment with our Director of Nursing Care & Seniors Services is required. Those seeking application for the Retirement Residence should be cognitively well and able to look after their actvities of daily living, including eating and toileting. Medications and treatments are provided by registered nursing staff and personal assistance is provided for bathing and dressing as needed.

When residents can no longer look after these activities of daily living, the nursing staff and Director of Nursing Care & Seniors Services will assess the resident's need for Long Term Care. We assist Retirement residents and their families in completing the required documentation for Long Term Care and will liaise with Ontario Health atHome (OHAH, formerly CCAC, LHIN, and HCCSS), which determines all admissions to Long Term Care facilities, including those for our Home.
